A few "back-dated" cell pix from last season - Floyd Fest and Roanoke
Dudding and David in the grub-tent. I have to say, I have never eaten such good food at any festival I have ever played or even been at.
back from Roanoke (for a different gig in between our Floyd Fest spots. Walking around looking for music. It was easy to find!
Cob salad in the van after the Roanoke gig
Dudding and Shlenker confering. Looks serious.
The band that played before us in Roanoke. I will post their name later. Can't remember it right now.
Neat "shade creating" canvases, that were all over the place at Floyd Fest. Form meets Function!
Random photo.
View of our campsite.
A few "back-dated" cell pix from last season - Asheville
Mick and Tony hanging out with David and I as we ate some coneys from that killer hot dog restaurant in Asheville. I think it is called "Cats and Dawgs". I should now by know because we stop there everytime we play in or pass thru town.
Looking down Biltmore Ave.
Off the road for a bit.
Whew! It was a hell of a year! Bucktown Kickback played 71 shows from August '07 to September '08. During that year, we played everywhere from New York to Florida. Tennessee to North Carolina. Georgia to South Carolina. Kentucky to Missouri. A few stops thru Ohio and Virginia. In that time, my upright bass got stolen and miraculously returned. Met many many friends along the way and logged nearly 20,000 miles of road time in the van with Shlenker and David.
Taking a break for a bit to recover but I will resume posting pics when I hit the road again at the end of winter. Stay tuned.

David getting some tacos from Taco John's, In Athens OH, on the road home.
Ye Olde Hickory Tap Room, Hickory, NC.
Close up from an intersting painting, at the Asheville Museum of Art. I always stop in when we are playing in that area.
As was saying in a tweet... Claus Oldenburg?
Hanging with our Patron Saints of Knoxville.
My first Washtub Bass experience. Ouch!
Floyd Fest and Roanoke VA
Updated. Bucktown Kickback perfromed a few sets at FloydFest 2008. I have to say it was one of the most organized and nice festivals I have ever had the pleasure of performing at or attending.
Got to see some great acts (including David Grisman, which was stellar).
Somewhere in Roanoke, for another gig.
Miscelaneous Jam Band (not really my thing).
Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad at 3 a.m. They were pretty cool.
View from the stage of our set, day two.
